Tenor Ben Heppner sings the Saint! He is back to re-create the role he originally sang with the Choir in 1976. The colourful Saint Nicolas cantata by Benjamin Britten tells the stories of the real saint in a festive work for choirs, orchestra and, of course, solo tenor. The companion piece for this joyous holiday concert is the vivacious Gloria by Vivaldi, a quintessential Baroque experience. This is one of those not-to-be-missed concerts!
