Caitlin Bradley - Soprano
|
Caitlin studied voice with Bruce Pullan, Marisa Gaetanne, and Heather Thomson-Price while at UBC and choral conducting with Bruce Pullan. She directed the UBC Vocal Jazz Ensemble from 2003-2006, sang in the University Singers and many other small vocal ensembles.
Outside of UBC, Caitlin sang with the Vancouver Cantata Singers for two seasons as a soloist and section leader, and in the vocal quartet at Holy Rosary Cathedral as the soprano soloist and section leader. Caitlin began studying music at age 4 with violin lessons, but soon discovered her love of the stage. She has been studying singing, acting, dancing and piano since the age of 7 when she became a student at the Jennings Institute for Performing Artists and joined the So-La-Mi Musical Theatre ensemble where she studied with Marnie Jennings until 1999. With J.I.P.A., she went through the Royal Conservatory of Music exams in Singing, Acting and Piano. She has studied ballet, tap, modern, jazz, irish and hip hop, and had extensive opportunities to explore and perform the musical theatre repertoire. Caitlin is the music director at St. Francis in the Wood Anglican Church, and at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. In June of 2006, Caitlin appeared in Magi's production of Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice as Amore, angel of love. Caitlin is thoroughly enjoying the experiences gained singing with the Vancouver Chamber Choir. She loves the repertoire, the touring opportunities and the great musicians she gets to work with. |
