Jemmy (Chia-Mei) Chen - Soprano

Jemmy was born and raised in Taipei,
Taiwan. She has studied piano, percussion, voice,
and conducting. She moved to Vancouver in 1996 and
has since completed a BA in Music from Trinity Western
University (TWU) and a BA in Communications from
Simon Fraser University. She was previously the
soprano section leader and Assistant Choir Director
for Trinity Western University Choir. Jemmy currently
sings with Trinity Masterworks, an alumni choir.
As a member of the TWU choirs, Jemmy has performed in concert with the Vancouver Chamber Choir on several occasions. She values the collaboration between VCC and other local choirs, and enjoys the wide variety of music the Choir performs. Jemmy became a member of the Choir's soprano section at the beginning of the 2003-2004 choral season. |
